Two new departments and two new hires at NAU

In August 2019, the Department of Physics and Astronomy split into the Department of Astronomy and Planetary Sciences and the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science. The Department of Astronomy and Planetary Sciences has taken on two new professors, Devon Burr and Josh Emery, and has ambitious plans to continue expanding and revamping its programs.
